What does IEB offer to professionals from the Balearic Islands who attend fairs?
• IEB supports professionals to attend fairs through its line of subsidies. These subsidies cover a part of the travel and stay costs, and they are addressed to authors, agents, publishers and professionals in the book and comic sector. You can apply for a grant up to fifteen days before the fair begins.
• In case that IEB has a booth at a fair, professionals from the Balearic Islands who attend the fair can hold their working meetings there. If you want to use it, you must notify us in writing at least fifteen days in advance.
• IEB can distribute promotional materials from professionals that cannot attend the fair personally, as well as establish contact with agents, editors, translators and other professionals in their name, as long as the applicants deliver the necessary materials and give IEB written authorization to make use of it.
