Portfolio reviews Fotofest Meeting Place 2023

The Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics (IEB) has an agreement with the organizers of the photography festival Fotofest to cover the registration fees for 6 photographers from the Balearic Islands to participate in the online reviews of The Meeting Place organized by the festival on July 21 and 22, 2023.

This call is aimed at professional photographers residents in the Balearic Islands or natives of the archipelago. The selection of the photographers is made through an open call launched by the IEB.

The Meeting Place 2023 Virtual Portfolio Review is open to lens- and image-based artists and photographers who are looking for feedback on their work and have at least one complete or very near-complete body of work that is ready for exhibition or publication.

The IEB takes care of the registration costs in the modality of 8 reviews of the selected photographers, which it pays directly to the festival.

The organizers of Fotofest Meeting Point 2023 select the participating Balearic creators.

The open call for selecting the participating balearic photographers remains open from May 26 to June 5, 2023.

The photographers selected for the 2023 edition are Erola Arcalís, Tomeu Coll, Diego Menjíbar, Marina Planas, Beatriz Polo and Silvia Prió.
